The House of Guilds Museum has been constructed to be an integral part of the Corvin Castle. As one of the most beautiful castles in Europe, the Corvin Castle is visited annually by thousands of tourists, Romanians and foreigners alike. The establishment of a new museum on the Castle site has resulted in an increased number of tourists interested in enriching their personal experience. By highlighting traditions, handicrafts, customs, endangered crafts, and the active involvement of the tourist who sees the activities of the guilds, the House of Guilds Museum is an important landmark on the tourist map of Romania.

The museum operates in the building called the House of the Administrator, which is part of the group of constructions that make up the Husarian Court, at the Corvin Castle.
